James Resila Selected to the 2023 New York Super Lawyers List

Partner James A. Resila has been selected to the 2023 New York Super Lawyers list in the practice areas of civil litigation, professional liability, and appellate law. He is proud to have held this recognition for 13 consecutive years (2011 to 2023).

Jim concentrates his practice on the defense of medical malpractice claims, as well as general negligence, municipal defense, and appellate law. He is a seasoned trial and appellate attorney with experience across many industries. He has brought numerous cases to verdict both in state and federal courts as well as before administrative tribunals. He works from the Albany office.

He is admitted to practice in New York and Massachusetts, all New York federal courts, U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit, federal courts in Massachusetts and Vermont, as well as the Supreme Court of the United States.
